NATIONAL FLOOR SHOW 2010 ANNOUNCES NEW DESIGN TRENDS AREA

The National Floor Show 2010 will see an exciting new feature area at the show, based on some of the key interior design trends for the year ahead. A special area will display a number of key forthcoming trends for the flooring industry, enabling visitors and exhibitors to gain an insight into consumers’ needs and wants, far in advance.

Specialist interior design trend forecasting company Scarlet Opus will design the area, in conjunction with show organiser UBM Live.
 
Trend forecasting is a precise art, and Scarlet Opus specialises in predicting forthcoming trends for the interiors sector, with special links to the flooring industry through its work in industry magazines, such as Furniture News, and a number of flooring companies.
 
Lead trend forecaster Victoria Redshaw comments on the new area at National Floor Show 2010: “We are very excited to be creating an inspirational trend area for this year's National Floor Show. It is the perfect way to set the tone for the new, vibrant, forward-looking NFS!

"It will showcase the creative use of products from a range of exhibitors at the event and demonstrate the crucial part flooring plays in interior design. Over 50 companies are now confirmed for the National Floor Show 2010, including Adore Floors, Asiatic Carpets, Bostik, Brintons, Heuga Home Flooring, Karndean International, Sika and Osmo.
